Unirock Performance Canceled!
With regret we have to announce that we will not appear at Istanbul’s Unirock Open Air this coming Sunday. The promoter has broken his contract with us (and, obviously, other bands, namely Opeth, Katatonia, and Hammerfall) and is currently not replying to any of our attempts to contact him. He has also failed to book flights for the band. Therefore there’s nothing we can do but to assure you that this news is as sad for us as it is for our turkish fans. We have been looking forward to this show for months and we’ll do all we can to find a replacement for it next year and as soon as possible!

I just bought a vip ticket once i knew opeth and katatonia will play live in my country’s neighbourhood. But now i realize i’ve came all the way from tehran to istanbul to watch some turkish young bands experience their carrier. It’s not fair. Please cancel mayhem as well to complete the decadence process!

Hopefully all u bands and the Turkish fans give this guy a bad name and put him out of business! Gonna see Opeth/Katatonia in a few weeks and glad I saw Eluveitie back in February!

September 2011, 16:18have u heard about iran?we are living in a country that has no metal concert,metal is illegal in here,but we save our money to go out of this hell to see our favorite bands and exactly bands we are living with their music and the time we are in istanbul those bands cancel their performance,I cant understand why this time scandinavian bands like katatonia and opeth canceled too,does it have a meaning?
